Horse Advent Calendar 2026: 9 Picks from £9.99

Our top picks

Best overall: Schleich Horse Club Advent Calendar 2026 (99240) (£34.99). Our overall pick for a current-year kids' horse figure calendar. The listing describes 24 days of Horse Club surprises with horse and rider figurines, a foal, stable equipment and accessories for children from 5 years. It suits a child who already plays Horse Club or wants a daily figure countdown rather than treats for a real horse.

Best budget: Efields Horse Advent Calendar Fibre Nuggets (£9.99). The cheapest calendar in this guide. The listing describes a horse advent calendar with tasty fibre nuggets and 25 individual openings for your horse. It suits a low-spend treat countdown when you want something edible for a real horse rather than plastic figures.

Best kids figure play: PLAYMOBIL Horses of Waterfall Riding Café Advent Calendar (£14.99). Our kids play pick. The listing describes an unfilled Advent calendar set with daily surprises set around Christmas baking in Ellie's riding café, for children aged 4 years and above, made from durable plastic with colourful accessories. It suits younger horse fans who prefer Playmobil scenes to Schleich or Breyer collectible horses.

More horse advent calendars compared

Stud Muffins Horse Treats Advent Calendar (£10.99). A handmade horse-treat calendar. The listing describes delicious handmade horse treats with oats, barley, wheat, molasses, linseed and fenugreek, fortified with extra protein and flax seeds. Choose this when the gift is for the horse in the stable rather than a child's toy shelf.

Crunchits Horse Charity Christmas Advent Calendar (£11.98). A low-sugar treat calendar with a charity angle. The listing says the treats are molasses-free and suitable for all horses and ponies, made with natural flavours of beetroot, parsnip, carrot and banana, with all net proceeds going to the British Horse Society's Second Chance Scheme. Useful when you want a treat box that states low sugar on the listing.

Breyer Advent Calendar Horse Camp (B-HP-10618) (£31.76). A 24-door Mini Whinnies collector calendar. The listing says you open one of 24 doors each day to discover a horse, rider, animal or accessory, with 11 horses, 2 riders and a mix of English and Western breeds and care accessories. It suits a child or adult collector who wants traditional Breyer miniatures rather than Schleich Horse Club plastic.

Breyer 75th Anniversary 12 Days of Breyer (B-HP-10325) (£30.11). A shorter 12-day collector calendar. The listing describes vintage Breyer imagery and packaging with 12 historic miniature models, including a gambler's-choice Sherman Morgan in one of five decorator colours. Pick this when you want a mid-month style countdown of classic Breyer finishes rather than a full 24-door box.

Schleich Horse Club 34-Piece Advent Calendar (99178) (£36.19). A fuller Horse Club piece-count calendar. The listing describes a 34-piece holiday advent calendar with a poseable figurine, 3 horses, bales of hay, feed, grooming tools and daily surprises. It suits a child who wants more accessories and horses in one box than a leaner 24-day set, if you are happy the listing does not name the 2026 year on the title.

Effol Advent Calendar 2026 (£73.03). The dearest calendar here and the only rider-care product box in the table. The listing describes 24 assorted miniature products for horse, leather care and riding, with skincare classics from Effol, Effax and Hey Sport. It suits an adult rider or groom who wants useful mini care products through December rather than toys or edible horse treats.

Kids figure calendars, horse treats, or rider care

Kids figure calendars such as Schleich Horse Club 2026 (£34.99), the Schleich 34-piece set (£36.19), Playmobil Horses of Waterfall (£14.99) and the Breyer Horse Camp and 75th Anniversary boxes (£31.76, £30.11) put plastic or resin horses and accessories behind the doors. After the countdown the child keeps a play set.

Horse-treat calendars such as Efields (£9.99), Stud Muffins (£10.99) and Crunchits (£11.98) are meant for a real horse. Read sugar, molasses and portion guidance on the listing, and check with your yard or vet if the horse is on a restricted diet.

Rider-care calendars such as Effol (£73.03) pack miniature grooming and leather products. Luxury equestrian brand calendars (for example Lemieux, Forelock & Fringe or Ancora) appear strongly in Google UK autocomplete and on specialist shops, but they were not among the Amazon UK buy boxes we kept for this table.

For humans or for real horses

Google UK autocomplete splits this keyword into calendars 'for humans' / 'for people' / 'for adults' and calendars 'for real horses'. Toy and rider-care boxes are the human gifts; treat calendars are for the horse.

If the recipient is a child, start with Schleich, Playmobil or Breyer and match the age line (Playmobil 4+, Schleich Horse Club 2026 from 5+ on the listing).

If the recipient owns a horse, decide treat versus care: Efields, Stud Muffins and Crunchits for edible doors; Effol for miniature care products the rider can use.

Cost per day

Dividing each price by the day count on the listing (24 where stated, 12 for the Breyer 75th Anniversary box, 25 openings for Efields) gives a rough daily cost on 6 November 2026: about £3.04 a day for Effol, £2.51 for the Breyer 75th Anniversary 12-door box, £1.51 for Schleich 34-piece, £1.46 for Schleich 2026, £1.32 for Breyer Horse Camp, £0.62 for Playmobil, £0.50 for Stud Muffins if treated as 24 days, £0.50 for Crunchits on the same basis, and about £0.40 for Efields across 25 openings. Treat calendars that do not state a day count on the listing are costed only as a rough guide.

What to look for in a horse advent calendar

Decide who opens the doors: a child collector, a real horse, or a rider who wants care minis. That choice matters more than the horse picture on the front.

Read the day count and contents list. This guide includes 24-day figure sets, a 12-day Breyer collector box, a 25-opening treat calendar and treat boxes that do not always state '24 days' on the Amazon title.

For treat calendars, check sugar, molasses and flavour notes, and whether proceeds go to a named charity if that matters to you.

For kids' sets, check the age line and small parts. Playmobil says 4+; Schleich Horse Club 2026 says from 5 years on the listing we read.

Lemieux and other luxury equestrian calendars sell out on brand sites; if that is what the recipient expects, check those shops directly rather than assuming an Amazon figure calendar is the same product.

Check the seller and delivery date. Prices in this guide ranged from £9.99 to £73.03 on 6 November 2026; order early enough for the calendar to arrive before 1 December.

How this guide was put together

We searched Amazon UK for horse, equestrian and horse-treat advent calendars on 6 November 2026, read each listing with a London delivery address, and kept only calendars with a filled brand field, a single live buy-box price for a new item, and a normal in-stock or shippable line. That left out Generic-only acrylic ornament calendars, dual new-price buy boxes, low-stock lines (for example a CRAZE Cavally calendar with only six left), Playmobil calendars that were not horse-themed, and Lemieux or other brand-site luxury boxes that did not appear as Amazon UK buy boxes in this pass. Contents, ages and counts come from each listing. We have not used star ratings or review counts, and we have not opened the calendars.

Prices were checked on Amazon UK on 6 November 2026 and can change at any time. Check the current price, details and delivery date on Amazon before you order.
