Dinosaur Advent Calendar 2026: 9 Picks from £12.99

Our top picks

Best overall: JOYIN Dinosaur Figure Advent Calendar 2026, 24 Pcs with Felt Map (£19.99). Our overall pick for a figure calendar with a clear play set after Christmas. The listing describes 18 realistic dinosaur figures in three sizes plus scene accessories and a felt world map, aimed as a Christmas countdown gift for kids. It suits a child who wants dinosaurs to arrange on a mat rather than only race cars.

Best budget: Spiritzohic Mini Dinosaur Figurines Advent Calendar 2026 (£12.99). The cheapest calendar in this guide. The listing describes a 24-day blind-box style countdown with mini dinosaur figurines that can be used as toys or ornaments. It suits a low-spend gift when you want a daily dino without paying for cars or a large play mat.

Best fuller figure set: D-FantiX Dinosaur Advent Calendar 2026, 24 Mini Figures (£25.49). The dearest figure calendar here, with 24 mini dinosaur figures and a fold-down play flap on the listing. It is made of ABS plastic and the listing says it is suitable for kids above 3 years old. Good when you want a full set of figures and a built-in play surface rather than a separate felt map.

More dinosaur advent calendars compared

iZoeL Dinosaur Advent Calendar 2026 Boys Kids (£15.18). A mid-price plastic figure calendar. The listing gives figure sizes of about 5.5–7 cm, hand-painted colouring based on real dinosaurs, and a daily surprise through December. Useful if you want named educational colouring rather than pull-back cars.

SenZjx Dinosaur Toddler Advent Calendar 2026 with Escape Map (£16.97). A figure calendar pitched at younger children, with 24 unique dinosaur figurines plus an escape map, dice and short facts on the listing. It turns the countdown into a simple family board-game style activity after the doors are open. Check small parts against the child's age before you buy.

Quanquer Dinosaur Cars Advent Calendar 2026, Pull-Back Trucks (£19.99). A car-focused calendar: the listing says 20 dinosaur pull-back toy cars in different sizes and styles (T-Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus and others), made of ABS plastic and metal, for ages 3–8, with no batteries needed. Choose this when the child prefers racing to collecting static figures.

Moiuguli Dinosaur Advent Calendar 2026 Figures Cars Eggs Mix (£19.99). A mixed-contents calendar. The listing names 16× about 5-inch dino figures, 7 pull-back cars (3 large + 4 small), 4 dino eggs, a nest, a red volcano and a game map, packed as 24 numbered silver blind bags. It suits a child who wants both figures and cars in one box, if you are happy that not every door is the same type of toy.

Mjuthy Dinosaur Advent Calendar 2026 T-Rex Triceratops Set (£21.24). A paper-box figure calendar that names species such as Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops and Velociraptor on the listing, aimed at children aged about 4–12. Useful when you want species names on the product page rather than only a generic 'dino' claim.

KimiLeo Dinosaur Monster Truck Advent Calendar 2026 + Play Mat (£23.99). A fuller pull-back car calendar at a higher price. The listing describes 24 dinosaur-themed pull-back vehicles in assorted sizes plus a play mat, ABS plastic, ages 3+, no batteries. Pick this when you want every door to be a car and a mat to race on after Christmas.

Figure sets, pull-back cars, or a mix

Figure calendars such as JOYIN (£19.99), D-FantiX (£25.49), iZoeL (£15.18), Spiritzohic (£12.99), SenZjx (£16.97) and Mjuthy (£21.24) hide a dinosaur model behind each door. After 24 days you have a collection to play with or display. JOYIN adds a felt map; D-FantiX adds a fold-down flap; SenZjx adds a map-and-dice game.

Pull-back car calendars such as Quanquer (£19.99) and KimiLeo (£23.99) replace static figures with dinosaur-shaped cars that roll when pulled back. They suit children who already have plenty of standing dinosaurs.

Mix boxes such as Moiuguli (£19.99) combine larger figures, cars, eggs and scenery. Read the contents list carefully: not every door is the same kind of toy, which some children love and others find uneven.

Chocolate dinosaur calendars (for example Marks & Spencer Natural History Museum designs) and National Geographic dig calendars appear in Google UK autocomplete for this keyword, but they are different products from the toy calendars compared here. Licensed Jurassic World calendars are covered in our separate Jurassic World advent calendar guide.

Age, small parts and mess

Listings that state an age usually start at 3+ (D-FantiX, Quanquer 3–8, KimiLeo 3+, Mjuthy about 4–12). Mini figures, eggs and car parts are small, so check the box against younger siblings even when the calendar is labelled for a older child.

Figure and car calendars are generally dry play. Dig-out egg calendars (sold under Jurassic and generic dinosaur searches) involve chipping and brushing and are better at a table; none of the nine buy-box picks in this table are dig kits.

3D-printed articulated 'dragon dinosaur' calendars also appear in Amazon search results. We focused this guide on conventional figure and car calendars with clear 24-day buy boxes; treat novelty articulated sets as a separate browse if that is what the child wants.

Cost per day

Dividing the price by 24 days gives a rough daily cost on 6 November 2026: about £1.06 a day for D-FantiX, £1.00 for KimiLeo, £0.89 for Mjuthy, £0.83 for JOYIN, Quanquer and Moiuguli, £0.71 for SenZjx, £0.63 for iZoeL and £0.54 for Spiritzohic. The budget mini-figure calendar costs the least per day; the fuller 24-figure and 24-car boxes cost the most.

What to look for in a dinosaur advent calendar

Decide figure, car or mix first. A child who lines dinosaurs up on a shelf will get more from JOYIN, D-FantiX or iZoeL; a child who races toys will get more from Quanquer or KimiLeo.

Read what is behind each door, not just '24 days'. All nine calendars here run for 24 days, but that can mean 24 mini figures, 20 cars in a 24-day box, or a mixed bag of figures, cars and eggs.

Check age guidance and small parts. Several listings say 3+; mini figures and eggs are easy to lose or swallow around toddlers.

Skip licensed Jurassic World boxes if you already read that guide, and skip Generic-only junk listings with no clear brand or contents. Premium brand calendars such as Playmobil and Schleich sometimes appear in search but can sit on low-stock lines before December.

Check the seller and the delivery date. Prices in this guide ranged from £12.99 to £25.49 on 6 November 2026; order early enough for the calendar to arrive before 1 December.

How this guide was put together

We searched Amazon UK for dinosaur advent calendars on 6 November 2026, read each listing with a London delivery address, and kept only non-Jurassic calendars with a single live buy-box price for a new item and a normal in-stock line. That left out Mattel Jurassic World calendars (covered in their own guide), low-stock Playmobil and Schleich lines when better-stocked options were available, Generic-only chocolate or ornament listings without a clear brand field, dual new-price buy boxes, and near-duplicate acrylic ornament calendars. Contents, ages and counts come from each listing. We have not used star ratings or review counts, and we have not opened the calendars.

Prices were checked on Amazon UK on 6 November 2026 and can change at any time. Check the current price, details and delivery date on Amazon before you order.
