Football Advent Calendar 2026: 9 Picks from £11.94

Our top picks

Best overall: Panini FIFA 365 Adrenalyn XL 2026 Trading Cards Advent Calendar (£34.14). Our overall pick for a young collector, because it is a current card set at a lower price than the Premier League calendar below. The listing gives 24 packs of FIFA 365 Adrenalyn XL 2026 cards, a set the listing says has over 300 stars from 21 teams across international football, with names such as Lamine Yamal, Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland, plus numbered parallels and autograph cards in the wider collection. Cards are 2.5 x 3.5 inches. The listing does not say how many cards are in each pack. When we checked, its delivery line mentioned free delivery on eligible international items over £35 and a 12 November date, so check the delivery cost at checkout.

Best budget: The Football Advent Calendar for Adults (book) (£11.94). The cheapest calendar here is a paperback rather than a box of doors, and it is aimed at grown-up fans. It runs from 1 December to Christmas Eve, with a different challenge each day: legendary matches, 'Who Am I?' players, career-path and transfer puzzles, famous stadiums, World Cup questions and build-your-own-XI tasks. The listing gives 161 pages in a large-print edition, independently published on 21 September 2026. It suits a dad, grandad or friend who would rather argue about football than eat chocolate.

Best for young readers: Football Stars Advent Calendar 2026: 24 Player Story Books (£17.00). A daily reading habit with a football twist. Each day opens a short book about one player, and the listing says every book comes with a free audiobook of the player's full story. The line-up mixes legends and current names, from David Beckham, Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi to Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham and Alessia Russo, and the listing says ten of the 24 players are women. It is written by Luke Paton with Harry Meredith, published on 3 September 2026, and the reading age given is 7 to 9.

More football advent calendars compared

Topps Premier League 2026 Debut Edition Advent Calendar (£42.49). The Premier League card calendar. The listing says it holds 96 Festive Parallel cards and 24 Festive Freeze cards, which is 120 cards over 24 packs, or five cards a day. The set name on the listing is Topps Premier League 2026 Debut Edition, with every Premier League team represented. The listing does not give a season such as 2026/27, so if a child is trying to complete this season's binder, check the season printed on the box before you buy. It is the dearest calendar in this guide.

FOCO England BRXLZ Christmas Tree Advent Calendar (£30.00). An officially licensed England calendar that builds a Christmas tree in team colours over 24 days. The listing gives 628 BRXLZ bricks and a finished model about 14.5 cm tall, with crest graphics and a decorative base, so it ends up as a small desk or shelf decoration. It suits a fan who follows the national team more than a club.

FOCO Liverpool FC BRXLZ Christmas Tree Advent Calendar (£30.00). The same idea for Liverpool supporters: an officially licensed brick calendar that builds a club-coloured Christmas tree with crest graphics. The listing gives 632 pieces, a finished height of about 14.5 cm and a recommended age of 12 and up, with an instruction manual included. FOCO lists the same style of calendar for other clubs on Amazon UK, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City, so look for your club's version.

Lunluck Football Advent Calendar 2026, 24-Day Building Block Set (£24.99). A brick calendar for younger builders that makes a different football model every day rather than one big build. Each numbered pack holds the pieces for one mini model, such as players, shirts, balls, trophies and goal scenes, with 712 pieces in total. The listing says it is for ages 6 and up and contains small parts.

Kockuu Football Advent Calendar 2026, 24 Days (£19.99). A gift-mix calendar with one small football item behind each of 24 boxes. The listing names a finger football game set, mini table football, football wristbands and bracelets, a quick-drying football towel, tattoo stickers, an inflatable balloon, a bouncing ball and whistles among the 24 items. It is pitched at sporty teenagers.

iZoeL Football Advent Calendar 2026 (£18.68). A cheaper gift-mix calendar with more, smaller items. The listing lists a football backpack, football glasses, a wristband, a towel, socks, two goals, seven mini players, four mini trainers, a gold medal, a whistle, three keychains, a pen, a snake cube and 14 stickers, among 24-plus gifts behind 24 doors. The contents are mostly small plastic toys, so it suits a younger fan who likes lots of little surprises.

Cards, books, bricks or a gift mix: the four types

Card calendars suit collectors. The Panini Adrenalyn XL calendar (£34.14) and the Topps Premier League calendar (£42.49) give a pack a day, and the cards go straight into a collection after Christmas.

Book calendars suit readers. Football Stars (£17.00) gives a short player book a day for ages 7 to 9, and The Football Advent Calendar for Adults (£11.94) is a single trivia book with a challenge for each day.

Brick calendars leave a model on the shelf. The FOCO England (£30.00) and Liverpool (£30.00) calendars build one club Christmas tree, while the Lunluck calendar (£24.99) builds 24 separate mini football models.

Gift-mix calendars, such as Kockuu (£19.99) and iZoeL (£18.68), hide small toys and accessories. They are the most varied day to day, but the items are generic football-themed pieces rather than club or player merchandise.

Card calendars: check the game and the set

Adrenalyn XL (made by Panini) and Match Attax and Topps Premier League (made by Topps) are separate collections, so cards from one do not complete the other's binder. If a child already collects one game, buy the calendar for that game.

Check the set name too. The Adrenalyn calendar here is the FIFA 365 2026 set, which covers international football rather than one league. The Topps calendar's listing names the Premier League 2026 Debut Edition set but no season, so look at the box if the season matters. When we checked, the only Match Attax calendar on Amazon UK was the 2025/26 one, and it had no buy-box price.

Cost per day

Dividing the price by 24 days gives a rough daily cost on 4 November 2026: about £1.77 a day for the Topps calendar, £1.42 for Adrenalyn XL, £1.25 for each FOCO brick calendar, £0.71 for Football Stars and £0.50 for the adults' trivia book. Card calendars cost the most per door, but they also give the most items to keep.

What to look for in a football advent calendar

Match the calendar to how they follow football. A collector wants cards from the game they already collect, a club supporter will value a licensed club calendar, a reader gets more from player stories, and a child who plays every weekend may prefer kit-style accessories.

Read what is behind each door, not just the number of doors. All nine calendars here run for 24 days, but that can mean 24 packs of cards, 24 books, 24 small builds, one larger build split over 24 days, or 24 assorted small items.

Check the age and the small parts. The Lunluck listing says 6 and up and warns of small parts, the FOCO Liverpool listing says 12 and up, and the gift-mix calendars include small pieces such as stickers, mini figures and balls. Keep brick and gift-mix calendars away from younger siblings.

For card calendars, check the season and the binder. A calendar's cards are most useful to a child who already has, or is getting, the matching binder or album. Several listings do not say how many cards are in each pack, so compare total card counts where the listing gives them.

Check the seller and the delivery date. Several calendars here are sold by third-party sellers, and the Adrenalyn XL listing showed an international delivery line and a 12 November date when we checked. Prices in this guide ranged from £11.94 to £42.49 on 4 November 2026; check the total and the delivery date on Amazon so the calendar arrives before 1 December.

How this guide was put together

We searched Amazon UK for football advent calendars on 4 November 2026, read each listing with a London delivery address, and kept only those with a single live buy-box price for a new item and a normal in-stock line. That left out several names on the day: the Topps Match Attax 2025/26 Countdown Calendar had no buy-box price, the SoccerStarz figure calendar showed two different new prices, and a football facts book calendar showed 'Available to ship in 1-2 days' rather than in stock. We also left out the SHOOT activity calendar, because its listing describes new content for 2022, a gift-mix calendar whose listing is labelled 2025, a second 712-piece building calendar that duplicates the Lunluck one at a higher price, and unbranded acrylic player-figure calendars. Contents, ages and counts come from each listing. We have not used star ratings or review counts.

Prices were checked on Amazon UK on 4 November 2026 and can change at any time. Check the current price, details and delivery date on Amazon before you order.
