How to claim the £0.99 Audible offer

• Open the Audible membership page on Amazon.co.uk using the button on this page.
• Sign in with your Amazon account, or create one.
• Select Get this deal and confirm the membership.
• Download the Audible app, sign in with the same Amazon account and pick your first audiobook.

The offer is shown to eligible customers on Amazon, and Amazon says terms apply. If you do not see the £0.99 price when you sign in, the offer may not be available on your account, for example if you have had an Audible membership or trial before. Amazon decides eligibility, not us.

What you get with Audible Standard

According to Amazon's offer page, Audible Standard lets you select 1 audiobook a month from the full collection, which Amazon describes as 900,000 titles. You can listen to the audiobooks you select for as long as you are a member. Unused monthly selections do not roll over, so if you skip a month, that month's pick is gone. Membership also includes unlimited access to podcasts, with early access to new episodes of select shows.

What it costs after the offer

At the time of writing, you pay £0.99 a month for the first three months. After that, the plan renews automatically at £5.99 a month unless you cancel. Over the first three months that is £2.97 in total. Amazon says the offer ends on 28 December 2026.

How to cancel

Amazon's page says Audible renews automatically and you can cancel monthly. Audible says that if you signed up on the website you can change your membership from your Account details page or by contacting customer service. If you signed up in the Audible app, check the subscription settings for that app store instead. Set a reminder a few days before the end of month three if you only want the offer period.

What happens to your audiobooks if you cancel

This matters for Standard members. Audible explains that audiobooks you choose as Standard monthly selections are only available while you are a member; they show a lock icon after you cancel and unlock again if you rejoin. Audiobooks you buy with cash or credits are yours to keep even after you cancel.

• Choose longer audiobooks you really want, as each month's selection does not carry over.

Is this the same as the free trial?

No. Amazon also shows a 30-day Audible Standard free trial on some pages, which auto-renews at £5.99 a month after 30 days. The £0.99 offer covers three paid months instead of one free month, so it gives you longer to try the service for a small cost. Which offer you see depends on your account.
