Other building block advent calendars
What to look for in a building blocks advent calendar
Theme. Pick the theme the child already plays with: City for vehicles and towns, Friends for mini dolls and animals, Disney Princess for Disney fans.
Age. LEGO lists City and Disney Princess for 5 and up and Friends for 6 and up, and pieces are small, so younger siblings need supervising.
Instructions. LEGO advent builds are small, but young children may need help with the first few.
Keep the pieces. Little builds are easy to lose, so a tray or box for the finished models helps.
Last year's calendars. The 2025 LEGO Harry Potter and Frozen calendars were still listed, but one showed only 1 left and the other a mid-November delivery, so we left them out.
Unbranded options. Cheaper brick-ornament calendars exist, but those we found had long delivery times or were marked adults only.
Budget. Prices in this guide ran from £17.99 to £23.99 when we checked.
How we chose these picks
We only included products that were in stock on Amazon UK with a single live buy-box price in pounds when we checked on 26 October 2026, read with a UK delivery address. We skipped listings showing low stock, long delivery dates or unclear details, and we avoided repeating products already featured in our other gift guides. Descriptions are based on what each listing says; we have not tested these products ourselves, and we have not used star ratings or review counts.
Prices were checked on Amazon UK on 26 October 2026 and can change at any time. Check the current price, details and delivery date on Amazon before you order.
